| A very well laid out course with plenty of
features, there is a lot of water as well as many bunkers, one of
which stretches from the tee to the green. Not particularly long from the yellow tees, it plays better off the whites. The first is fairly typical of what to expect, avoid the lake to your right off the tee (not much of a threat here), an iron over the stream between the mounds to the green, then negotiate the slopping putting surface. Hole 3, a par 4 right-dogleg around a massive lake with OB left. The heavily slopping green is reachable off the tee especially from the forward tee position (278yds), it all depends on the wind. There is no fairway on the par 3 sixth, it's all sand, one huge bunker, the green is slopping toward you so take enough club. The par 5 ninth hole is memorable for the lake all along your right hand side. and the need to cross the lake to reach the green. Between the lake and the raised green is just a large bunker the width of the green. Hole 11 is the longest par 4, with a narrow fairway bordered by large mounds and deep bunkers. Although there is a lake to your left by the tee, this is one of the few holes with no real water hazard. Another one that could tempt the long hitter, hole 14, 254yds from the yellow tee, the green is a little below you and to your left behind a large lake, if you can draw the ball it's inviting. 17 is a short par 3 most of which is water. The course finishes well with a good par 5, mounds all down the left, the fairway falls off toward the lake that runs along the right hand side. The lake then crosses to your left and trees protect the right. A well placed tee shot is required. A really nice environment with good facilities. |
